The poster has this golem I searched for forever, the Steel Golem. Found the Mud Gol, the others … never the Steel. Walk forever in the Mirage Tower searching.

Hello there! I myself have been on a quest to finish FFI (in the Origins collection), and FF2 after that. It’s been a blast…until the Sea Shrine. So very frustrating.

Anyways, I found your blog by sheer chance in seeking help for the last 2 floors of the ice cave. Cool site, and easy to read and relate to.

Will be commenting more as time and plot allows.

Something to note….I have a little experience in japanese and so I believe that “hiryuu” i s literally “flying dragon” Hi means flying and ryu or ryuu means dragon. They are a kind of dragon basically that will show up more in the games later.

Kudos to you for playing such an amazing series. I am currently doing the same thing, and I’m on FFVIII. The only thing I don’t understand is how FFXI and FFXIV can’t be considered part of the main series. Is it because they do not reflect the growth of the traditional RPG element in the series?

More updates are coming. They’re written… just need to proofread the and get the images in place. I was at GDC all week last week, which held me up. Thanks very much for the comment, though. All the nice things people have said keep me energized.
